1. Every companion is AI, and always labelled
Every profile carries an AI companion badge. The terms say it. The system prompt instructs the companion to confirm it if asked directly, and to never claim a physical body or a human life outside the conversation. Amora publishes no fake social profiles and never simulates a real person contacting you.
2. Adults only, on both sides
An 18+ confirmation is required before chat, image, voice or video features unlock, and it is recorded against your session. All companions are written as adults aged 21 to 45. Requesting content involving anyone under 18 is refused and would result in access being withdrawn.
3. Non-explicit by policy, enforced in code
A deterministic server-side filter screens every user message before it reaches the language model, and a second policy layer inside the companion's own instructions handles anything ambiguous. Image prompts are rewritten to non-explicit constraints before generation. Refusals stay in character and move the conversation on rather than lecturing.
4. Memory you can inspect and delete
Your companion stores short factual notes — the kind a friend would remember — extracted after a turn and shown to you in a memory panel. You can delete any line, instantly and permanently. Nothing extracted is sexual, medical or financial: the extraction step is instructed to ignore those entirely.
5. Anonymous by default
You can start without an account: a random session identifier stored in an httpOnly cookie links your first conversations to you. After five messages you are asked to create a free account, and the only personal data that involves is the display name and email address your Manus account provides — no phone number, and no payment details at any point during the beta. Your conversations are not sold, and are not used to train third-party models.
6. Generation with a stated limit
Images and video scenes are AI-generated, not photographs, and the platform refuses explicit or underage-implying prompts. Generated media is stored against your session so you can reuse or delete it. We do not claim photorealistic perfection, and consistency between images is good rather than perfect.
