ai chat: intimate, streaming conversations

AI chat is the heart of Amora: a private text conversation that remembers what matters and uses recent context to shape replies. Messages stream as they’re composed so you see thoughts unfold. Memory stores preferences and recurring details in Amora’s managed database, and you can open the memory panel to remove any memory at any time. It’s not a substitute for professional help.

How it works, step by step

  1. 01Start a chatOpen ai chat and send a message. Start with a topic, request, or mood. The assistant replies immediately; short messages prompt quick turns, longer prompts invite deeper conversation.
  2. 02Watch streaming repliesReplies stream as they form, letting you read fragments in real time. Pause or send an interjection at any moment to steer the reply. Streaming helps you stay present in the exchange.
  3. 03Use memoryMemory captures names, preferences and ongoing details you permit. It applies context across conversations to keep continuity. Review or remove entries anytime to correct or forget information you no longer want stored.
  4. 04Edit remembered detailsOpen memory settings to update or remove stored items. Changes take effect in future replies, and you can prompt the assistant to re-evaluate a past thread after edits to refresh the conversation's context.
  5. 05End or archiveWhen you finish, close or archive the thread. Archived chats remain retrievable. If you prefer, clear conversation history or specific memories to reset how future responses reference you or previous exchanges.

AI Chat — common questions

How do streaming replies work?

Streaming delivers the assistant's reply incrementally so you see text as it's composed. You can send a message or pause while a reply streams to change direction. It improves fluidity and lets you guide responses early, but partial replies may update as the model finishes composing the full answer.

What does memory store and how can I control it?

Memory stores items you allow: names, preferences and recurring context to make conversations feel continuous. View, edit or remove entries in memory settings. Avoid saving sensitive details; removing an item updates future replies, though past responses may still reflect earlier memory until refreshed. Amora has no sign-up: a private cookie carries your session and never your name, and you can remove any memory from the chat panel.

Is my conversation private?

You can archive, export or remove threads and control memory entries. Avoid sharing highly sensitive personal data in chat.
