Amora AI 18+ Policy
Last updated 30 September 2026
Amora is an adults-only service
Amora is a romantic companionship platform. Its subject matter — intimacy, desire, loneliness, relationships — is adult in nature even though the content is not explicit. For that reason the service is restricted to people aged 18 and over, and the gate is enforced before features unlock rather than buried in a footer.
What the age gate does
On first entering the app you are asked to confirm you are 18 or over. That confirmation is recorded as a flag against your anonymous session, and chat, image generation, video scenes and voice features remain locked until it is given. We do not ask for a date of birth, an identity document or any personal identifier, because we do not want to hold that data.
How companions are written
- Every companion has a stated age between 21 and 45, shown on her profile.
- No companion is written as, or can be re-written as, a minor: prompts implying a school setting, a childlike presentation or an under-18 age are refused by a server-side filter as well as by the companion herself.
- We do not use step-relative or family framing for any companion, at any point.
- Every companion is a fictional character generated by us. None depicts or impersonates a real person.
Content boundaries
Amora is romantic, flirty and suggestive, and stops there. Explicit sexual content, non-consensual scenarios and content sexualising minors are refused. Refusals are handled by a deterministic filter before a message reaches the language model, and by a second policy layer inside each companion's instructions. You will see refusals as short, in-character replies rather than error pages.
If access is misrepresented
If you are under 18, do not use this service. If we have reasonable grounds to believe a session belongs to a minor, or that an adult has set up a session for a minor, the session will be terminated and its stored data deleted. Reports can be sent through the contact page and are treated as a priority.
Getting help
Being an adult does not make loneliness or low mood easier, and a companion is not a clinician. If a conversation here is the only thing holding a day together, the safety page lists organisations you can talk to, in the UK, the US and elsewhere.
