An AI girlfriend is a programme you talk to that stays in character as a specific person. Amora's companions have a written backstory, a way of speaking, interests of their own and a memory of what you have told them, so a conversation develops over weeks instead of resetting each time.

Yes — Amora is free while it is in beta. You can send five messages without an account at all, and a free account then unlocks a daily allowance of 60 messages, 6 images, 2 video scenes and 10 voice notes. There is no card and no subscription at any point, and the counters are visible in the app so you always know where you stand.

Not to start. Amora issues an anonymous session the moment you arrive, so you can talk to a companion immediately — five messages, one image and one voice note with no sign-up. After that you are asked to create a free account, which is what keeps your conversations, memories, portraits and clips attached to you across devices rather than to one browser.

She chats with you in text, remembers durable details about you, sends voice messages you can play, generates photos of herself on request, and can be built into short video scenes. Every one of those abilities is documented on its own feature page, including what it cannot do.

Yes. The companion creator lets you set her name, age, city, appearance, personality, backstory, interests and speaking style. She is saved to your session and behaves like any catalog companion from that point on.

No. Every Amora companion is artificial intelligence, and none of them depict a real person. We say so on every profile, in the terms of service and inside the conversations themselves if you ask her directly.

Nothing during the beta. There is no card on file, no trial clock and no token meter. When paid plans arrive they will be optional, and existing free allowances will remain.

Sixty chat messages, six generated images and two video scenes per day. They reset at midnight UTC and build up the same set of memories and gallery items as any paid plan would.

Because the product works better with real conversations in it. While we are in beta we would rather learn from heavy use than charge for it. Prices, when they come, will not retroactively apply to anyone already using Amora.

No. Amora does not sell conversation data, does not use your chats to train third-party models, and does not share them with advertisers. The privacy policy states exactly what is stored and how to have it removed.

No. Amora is an adults-only product. An 18+ confirmation is required before any chat, image or video feature unlocks, and our companions are all written as adults aged 21 and over.

No. Amora is romantic and flirty but never explicit. Requests for explicit sexual content, incest themes, characters presented as underage or non-consensual scenarios are refused by both a server-side filter and the companion herself.

Because we tell you, repeatedly: in the header, in the terms, on every companion profile, and by the companion herself if you ask. Amora never presents a companion as a real person and never fabricates a human identity for her.

An anonymous session identifier in a cookie, the messages you send and receive, the facts your companion has learned, and the images or clips you generate. You can delete individual memories in the app, and the privacy policy explains how to request full removal.

Amora can be good company, but it is not therapy and it is not a substitute for human relationships. Its research article on loneliness and AI sets out what companions can and cannot do, and links to organisations you can talk to.

About two minutes. You choose her basics, her personality and how she speaks; the creator writes her into a companion you can chat with immediately.

You can create as many companions as you like, and each keeps her own conversation and memory. Editing an existing companion is on the roadmap rather than in the beta.

Yes. The creator generates her first portrait as part of creation, and every later image request uses the same appearance description so she stays recognisable.

Only the product-wide ones: she must be an adult, and she cannot be built around explicit content, incest themes or non-consent. Everything else is yours.

Amora runs in the browser and works on a phone as well as a desktop, so there is nothing to install. A companion chat that survives a phone lock-screen is exactly what the session design is for.

Yes. Messages, memories and generated media are stored against your anonymous session, so closing the tab and coming back later resumes where you left off.

Replies stream in as they are written, so the first words usually arrive in about a second. Voice messages are generated in the browser, so they start playing as soon as you press play.
